Pastoral Staff

Pastor David McBride and wife, Margaret, assumed the pastorate at The Sanctuary in 1990.  During that time, they have overseen many changes, including the renovation of the existing church building, as well as the addition of a new sanctuary.  Pastor McBride serves as the Presbyter for Section 10 of the Arkansas District United Pentecostal Church, and he is also very active within the local community.  Sis. McBride directs the Ladies Ministries at The Sanctuary and serves on the board of The Grace Place.  The McBrides have two children, Rachel and Tyler, and enjoy spending time with their two granddaughters.

Pastor Jason Campbell has served on the staff at The Sanctuary since 1998. As Associate Pastor, he delivers God's Word through preaching and teaching weekly, and he also oversees various church ministries.  Pastor Jason earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Arkansas.  He now works at the U of A as the Human Resource Manager for the Sam M. Walton College of Business.  His wife, Rachel, serves as Church Secretary for The Sanctuary as well as Treasurer on the board of The Grace Place.  Together, they have two daughters, Madelyn and Eliana.

Jeff O’Brien has been making music since he was six years old, and has been leading in worship since he was fourteen. He and his wife, Sarah, moved to Northwest Arkansas from Toledo, Ohio, in 2005 when Jeff became Music Minister at The Sanctuary. Jeff also works as Captain of the Prairie Grove Police Department, and Sarah works at the University of Arkansas, in addition to coordinating the sign and drama team at The Sanctuary. Together they have two sons, Chantry and Regan.

Tyler McBride serves as the Youth Pastor at The Sanctuary, where he ministers in weekly youth services and leads Authentic Youth Ministries. His wife, Vasti, leads the youth worship team and assists in coordinating the Youth Committee. Together, they plan fun and engaging events and activities to connect young people to God and to the church. Tyler earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism and Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the University of Arkansas. He now teaches English at Lincoln Middle School and serves as the Youth Secretary for Section 10 of the Arkansas District United Pentecostal Church.
